so, the theme lately has been beauty. i feel like i've been immersed in it...going through Captivating with the girls on Fridays and Do You Think I'm Beautiful with Shana later on the same day.
i've struggled with this topic...a lot. i've read it over and over again...The King is enthralled by your beauty. ok, so over and over again is true, but only in the past year and a half or so, i would say, did i even know that passage existed in the Bible. Psalm 45:11. it's there.
i'm thankful for a group of sisters that can remind me what true beauty in the Lord is. what it really means to be beautiful, beyond what the world's expectations are.
i'm beginning to believe it, too. it's taken awhile, He's using some new tactics these days. i'm amazed over and over at how BIG He is, and how PERFECT His timing is. i think i have something planned out, the path is all routed out, but then i look, and i'm not even using the right map. (click it...read it...and then read this too.) (if you just wanna click on the link that says Nanette, that would work too! ;) ).
I will live to love You.
what a statement. direct. to the point. and encompassing every aspect of everything i do. to live to love Him. no matter what. no matter where it takes me. no matter if where i end up is not even on the map i think i'm using right now...ok, so it's probably not, because He's that big, and that amazing. so, why not just get rid of the map, too?
to love Him. He's my Only Hope to get anywhere in this life.
the second half of the verse in Psalm 45:11 - "honor him, for he is your lord." i think it ties in. yup, definitely.
